Since Wyatt has been having headaches frequently and daily complains of his left eye hurting, we took him to a neurologist to look into it more.
After meeting with the doctor and being asked MANY questions about his sleeping habits, his medications and what kind of headaches he has. He's been told to go off Flonase (which makes headaches happen more often), to limit his TV exposure and to limit the amount of time he's outside. He was also put on Topomax to help prevent the headaches as much as possible.
We went today to have the blood drawn for all of the tests that the doctor requested. It seems she wants to rule out Lyme's disease since one of the symptoms is headaches. They'll receive the results for all of that by the end of the week.
We go on Friday morning for his head CT scan. It should be interesting because the doctor didn't order sedation - and when Wyatt gets nervous he giggles. Hopefully he'll be able to stay still and we'll be able to see what's going on in that head of his.
Please keep him in your prayers that he may go through the scan on Friday without a hitch.
We're confident that they'll find something simple that can be fixed. We'll just cross our fingers that we're right.

Kass was diagnosed with migrains in third grade. One of the symptoms was pain behind his eyes. I hope they can find something quick so he will be feeling better.

Have they tested him for rocks in his head and beans in his ears? Just checking.
