Interlaken, Switzerland

All over Switzerland we saw people parachuting off of the mountains. It must be a past time when you can't ski or you're tired of biking.

Interlaken means 'between 2 lakes'. We stayed on the Thunersee (lake of Thun) and got some great pictures of the sun going down. Our little hotel was located in a little village called Leissigen and was built in 1893. It was still stuck in the 70s as far as decor goes, but it was clean and quaint.

This is the view of the little village from our balcony. Just to the left (across the street and tracks) was the lake. It was gorgeous!
