Miracle Baby

The latest on little Charlotte is...

• she's drinking from a bottle
• she's tried nursing
• she's 3 lbs 12 oz now
  

Charlotte is so full of surprises. The nurses really didn't think she would do anything when they gave Amy the first bottle to try. She had a time limit of 35 minutes (because any longer would make her expend more calories than she was taking in). And of course, she drank everything in 20 minutes! And she latched on the first time Amy tried to "nurse"her. It was just a trial run to see what she would do - but she understands that if she works a little, she'll get something out of it!
What an amazing little girl!
