Baby Charlotte

Charlotte Elizabeth Peterson was born around 1 am on January 23rd.
She was delivered 10 weeks early because Mom's water broke.
Doctors are astonished that she's been breathing on her own since about an hour after birth.
Welcome, Charlotte!

Above is an oxygen tube just to ease her breathing. All other gadgets are just monitors. The only "line" she has is an IV.

Here is the happy family. Charlotte was a little over 2 lbs at birth. Amy said it was kinda scary to hold her at first because she's so little.

Here she's holding onto her daddy's finger. She often likes to hold on to them that way.
She's under a billy light to make sure her jaundice doesn't get too bad. The cloth over her eyes is to shield them from the light.

Amy said that at one of the little visits they had, Charlotte kept her eyes open for about 30 minutes. She's such a little trooper - and cute too!
